Ellen Hutteger, CRNA
Ellen Hutteger, an Omaha native, has built a distinguished career in Anesthesia. After graduating from Marian High School, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Saint Louis University. She then pursued a graduate degree in anesthesia at the University of Detroit Mercy. Ellen began her anesthesia career in 2004 at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan, before returning to Omaha to join Creighton University Medical Center.
At Creighton, Ellen thrived in an academic environment, continually challenging her skills and knowledge to provide the highest level of patient care while focusing on alleviating her patients’ anxiety and pain. Additionally, she assumed administrative responsibilities, serving as Chief CRNA and overseeing a team of 40 CRNAs across five hospital settings.
In 2021, Ellen founded Fusion Anesthesia, a business specializing in safe, quality, and innovative office-based anesthesia care, particularly for dental procedures. She is adept at administering anesthesia to patients with complex medical conditions and severe dental anxiety.
Outside of work, Ellen enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, often cheering them on from the soccer sidelines. She also enjoys running, reading, and playing golf.
Vincent Muma, CRNA
Vincent Muma, originally a native of Kenya has built his professional and family roots here in Omaha for the past 16 years. His journey in the medical world started in Wichita ,Kansas where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wichita State University. In 2009 Vince and his wife moved to Omaha to be closer to family at which time he progressed to a graduate degree in anesthesia at Clarkson College in Omaha, Nebraska.
Vince began his anesthesia career in 2016 at Creighton University Medical Center where he continued to advance his skills and knowledge base at a top tier academic institution and trauma center for 6 years taking care of patients with varying medical conditions across a wide age spectrum.
In 2022, Vince joined Fusion anesthesia to partner with Ellen Hutteger, CRNA in providing top level and safe office based anesthesia care for dental procedures incorporating the latest evidence based techniques. Vince takes the time to listen to patient concerns, review medical conditions together and develop a personalized treatment plan for each and every patient.
Outside of work, Vince enjoys spending time with his wife and four children who often keep them busy with their various sports activities and hobbies. You’ll occasionally catch him doing 5K runs around Omaha, and he is a social weekend golfer.
Zach Molacek, CRNA
Zach Molacek, a Stanton, Nebraska native, earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Creighton University. Upon graduation, he, his wife, and their one-year-old son moved to Kansas City, where he worked as a nurse. He then pursued a doctoral degree in nurse anesthesia at the University of Missouri–Kansas City and University Health in downtown Kansas City. Zach began working full-time as a nurse anesthetist in 2018, serving the greater KC metro area as well as rural communities in Kansas and Missouri.
In 2021, he and his family made the decision to return home to Nebraska and settled in Bennington.
Outside of work, Zach enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. Having coached both of them in youth sports, he now gets to cheer them on from the stands. He also enjoys staying active, tackling never-ending home improvement projects, spending time with nieces and nephews, and running a newly opened ice cream shop.
Mitch Krueger, CRNA
Born and raised in south central Nebraska, Mitch Krueger has been practicing anesthesia as a CRNA since 1998. After graduating with a Master’s degree in the Science of Anesthesia from Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City, he began his career at Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha. He and his wife moved out of state for a brief time practicing for a 3 year period in Providence Rhode Island and starting their family.
Prior to his anesthesia career, he attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and graduated from Bryan School of Nursing in Lincoln. While working in the ICU at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
After 20 years of practicing in the hospital, he took his practice outside the hospital. Along with other colleagues, he co-created a CRNA practice covering dental offices and various surgical outpatient facilities around Omaha. He continues to practice in these settings and in the hospital today.
Outside of anesthesia, Mitch enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 grown children traveling, golfing, reading, and exercising.
